Sometimes you may need to identify an unknown device's serial number, you can do so by right clicking on the Sync App ICON (The multi-coloured icon) in the status bar as shown below, and selecting ABOUT.
You may not see the App ICON at first. If this is the case, look for an "up" arrow and click it, this will display all ICONS.
The following window will appear and in it you will see a long number if the device is connected to the PC's USB port
Use the RIGHT button on your mouse (not left) to RIGHT click on the serial number and a pop up will appear that says "Copy Serial Number". Click on this pop-up using your normal LEFT mouse button:
You then need to PASTE this number into an empty email and send the email to support@gpslogbook.co.nz
Tip: (Use the CTRL + V) key on your keyboard to PASTE the number.
